William started walking today! We captured some of it here.
It's funny how he rocks back and forth, and is so pleased with himself.
Maybe he can work off some of that spare tire he has going.

We took a trip to Wisconsin Dells with our friends the Sessions this Christmas. They have several indoor water parks and hotels. We had a lot of fun, but the water was a little bit too cold. To make up for it we spent a good deal of time in our hotel room's jet tub. This is Emma's friend Macy.

Emma loves to hold William to comfort him when he's been hurt... until she can't feel her legs any longer.

A bank in downtown Milwaukee puts on an impressive Christmas display every year. They have well over a hundred little mechanized animals all busy at work. We went to see it and they even gave us candy canes and stale cookies.

William is developing into a cute little guy, and everybody loves to be with him. Grandma Jensen came to visit this year during Christmas and it was nice to have some family with us.

Emma can make herself content with some very simple things. She enjoys novelty items such as a cardboard box. She LOVES dress-up stuff, especially for her hair. She also really loves to run. She set up this cup in the middle of the floor and ran around it nonstop for 20 minutes. Incredible really. She has run half a mile without stopping on a trail near our home. She IS wearing underwear and is right in the middle of potty training.

So... William started doing this, which seemingly every kid goes through. It was funny and Emma wanted to join in. After several minutes though, he had to sit up and wonder what that funny feeling in his head was.

Emma still loves to be outside. We got a big snow storm and built a nice fort. Then a couple of days later it rained and left it in ruins. Figures. Emma also LOVES to push her stroller ANYWHERE and anytime.

William is at that "cruiser" stage and decided to hitch a ride off of Emma's truck.

Emma loves music and dancing. Here is one of her first piano recitals. Sorry it's a bit lengthy, but we really didn't think she'd keep going once she saw the camera.
