This is Dennis again. I received a death threat today. Apparently somebody wants us to update our blog. What was wrong with my mold collection blog? It was true art. I put my heart and soul into it. Since Amber is at the RS woman's conference and she's not ever going to update the blog again, I'll step in. This for sure fulfills that new year's resolution from 2008 to write in my journal right?
Okay here's a bunch of pictures out of order from our visit to UT and some from Wisconsin. We had a blast visiting with family. That was the first time we had all been together for a couple of years. I'm just going to throw in some cheap commentary for this one. Sorry if you were expecting some grand event like the mold collection. I know that one was hard to beat and do you know why? I had more negative comments than I have ever had comments on a blog before. (Most of them in person, off the record you know.) Going by those snobby critics standards, that is a sign of a true work of art is it not?

He's a true boy. We went to a pond to catch frogs and Emma screams like a girl just getting near one. William screams like a girl too, but picks them up and looks at them and then throws them at his sister.
Emma had her face painted at the annual dental school picnic. Our fourth and last one!
Amber bought a sewing machine and it came in a huge box full of packing peanuts. The kids hopped in and Emma kept calling it a bubble bath. They obviously had a lot of fun.

Our friend Mindy came to visit and William kind of saddled up next to her to be picked up, but had this uncomfortable expression on his face the entire time (about 5 minutes). It was hilarious.

The kids wanted a tractor ride so I drove them around the yard for a few minutes and then moved a pile of dirt so they could see the digger part in action.

We went hiking on the crimson trail in Logan Canyon. It was fun and beautiful with the exception of almost sending Gpa Weaver "home" before his time. I have been haunted by that ever since.

Every year I'm in Laketown I try to take advantage of my dad's workshop. This year my project was to make another tissue box. I was working on the one in the middle.
Here's the finished product. I've made a total of four. This one was all black walnut. I have changed the design a little bit each time and I like this one a lot.
