This week we found out I will be stationed at Sheppard AFB near Wichita Falls, TX. It is only for one year, while I am in an AEGD (advanced education in general dentistry) program, then on to some other location. I don't start until August or September, so we'll for sure come to UT and visit again this summer.
We are a little disappointed we didn't get assigned one of the locations a little closer to the West, but we'll make the most of it and have a great hot tornadoey redneck fun loving big Texan time.
At least we'll NOT have to deal with another Milwaukee winter again for...ever.

PS- On a side note take a look at one case I finished up a few months ago. This pt came in with a lot of teeth problems caused by erosion and caries. We ended up (among other things) crowning twenty teeth and now the pt looks completely different. Here are a couple before and after photos:

I'm glad you posted the after picture - I was curious to see how well that case turned out. Good job!
And, as far as Wichita goes, you'll only be about 100 miles from Trophy Club - where Rick & Laura live. Lucky!
Don't be grossed out by the pictures, just try to appreciate the actual dental work that went on. Sheesh, it's not like you had to actually stick your fingers in there.
The second Tom first saw the "before" picture he said, "That guy's on Crystal Meth." (So, you potential users out there, beware). ;-) Anyway, you have my sympathy for having to actually stick your fingers in there. I'm not sure I could have done it.
He's for sure not on meth. Meth- mouth is actually a lot worse, but kudos to Tom for seeing the similarity.
Good work on your case. That must have been a lot of fun to actually carry out the treatment plan to that extent. I can't believe how big the kids are getting. Hope things are going well!
